A beach house turnover cleaning is a detailed top-to-bottom clean done between guest stays to reset the property quickly and professionally.

Scope Of Work

Kitchen

  • Clean appliances

  • Clean and sanitize counters

  • Clean and sanitize cabinets

  • Clean and sanitize tables, and chairs

  • Clean, scrub, and sanitize sinks, work surfaces, and splashbacks

  • Clean the inside of the oven

  • Clean appliance exteriors

  • Clean inside of the toaster

  • Clean coffee machine

  • Clean inside and outside of the refrigerator

  • Clean inside and outside microwave oven

  • Wash the floor

  • Empty dishwasher

  • Clean and sanitize garbage disposal

  • Clean and sanitize garbage can

  • Quickly organize cupboards

  • Restock dishwasher detergent, liquid soap, coffee filters, and garbage bags (provided by property owner/manager unless otherwise agreed upon)

  • Put out 2 clean dishcloths and kitchen towels

Living Room

  • Clean, high dust, and vacuum

  • Clean baseboards

  • Dust windowsills and ledges

  • Dust furniture

  • Dust blinds,

  • Dust picture frames

  • Dust ceiling fans

  • Dust lamps

  • Vacuum carpets or wash floor

  • Vacuum furniture, including under seat cushions

  • Change sheets on the sofa bed

  • Wash windows on sliding glass doors

  • Empty and clean wastebaskets

  • Check remote *batteries/replace if necessary

Bedrooms

  • Vacuum floor

  • Vacuum under beds

  • Check for personal belongings left in drawers and closets

  • Dust furniture

  • Clean mirrors

  • Clean the inside of windows

  • Make sure *light bulbs are working and replace them if necessary

  • Check for wear and tear or stains on sheets and blankets

Bathrooms

  • Clean, scrub and sanitize showers

  • Clean, scrub and sanitize bathtubs vanity mirror, and splashbacks

  • Clean, scrub and sanitize vanity mirror and splashbacks

  • Clean, scrub and sanitize sinks

  • Clean mirrors

  • Clean and sanitize toilets

  • Polish chrome

  • Wash floors and tile walls

  • Empty wastebasket

  • Replenish hand soap and lotions.

  • Replenish *toilet paper

  • Wash and iron all linens, make sure there are 2 hand towels, 4 washcloths, 2 bath towels per guest and a *shower mat

Other areas

  • Be sure the washer and dryer are empty; clean out the lint trap

  • Check *light bulbs and change if necessary

  • Wipe off the patio set

  • Clean barbecue

  • Straighten outdoor area

  • Clear any debris from patios or balconies

  • Ensure that any rented facilities are left in excellent condition. (example: beach chairs, surf boards etc.)

Closing Instructions

  • Spray Air Freshener throughout the home

  • Note any damage or maintenance concerns in job notes

  • Turnoff lights as instructed

  • Lock windows and doors as instructed

  • Set alarms as instructed

  • Run ozone machine (if requested)

There may be additional areas that need cleaning depending upon the size and layout of your property.
